Amazing CD, Lance! A few of my new favorites are New Day, Stories, and Lily. Great, great job!! Looking forward to coming to watch you play whenever you are in Minneapolis!

Hi Lance,
I just wanted to let you know that you have a mini fan - my 4 yr old
son, Jack. He saw you when my husband took him to logging days at
Buena Vista. He really enjoyed your music and told me all about it
when he got home.

You played at my private wedding on Three Island Lake in August of
2002. You modified your song "Miles Around" for our wedding and it
fit us to a "t". I wish I would have had you record it that way for
us to keep so Jack could hear it. We will have to show him our
wedding video so he can watch you play right in our yard by the lake!

Hope your music career is doing great!

A seasoned and honed singer-songwriter with a fresh and refreshing outlook on life lived and dreams acted on. Well worth the adventure it may take to get here!

This is what Engineer Gary Burger has to say about Lance's new album...
"Every time Lance records I'm amazed by his songwriting output and his great ear for putting together good sounding tunes. His dedication to music is paying off and this album shows it!"
My in-laws were in town this weekend and by Sunday we had kind of run out of stuff to do, so we went to Lake Bemidji State Park that afternoon. My mother-in-law saw there was a concert scheduled and suggested that we listen in so my father-in-law could rest for a while. All four of us, despite different tastes, ages, etc., really enjoyed your performance, and I wanted to let you know that we were all very impressed.

" ...this fellow has a superb songwriting talent and his guitar playing improved vastly over the years. Now, with this last effort (Gestures, 2002) he has finally turned the corner. The songs are descriptive, moving and full of the special Lance vigor. He has taken himself to a new plateau by fleshing out his already good sound with a drummer, bassist, piano, and guest guitarist. What I really like about this album is that is sounds NATURAL. There is not one whit of looped or synthesized audio here. The sound is simply that of a very good band playing at its best by supporting the wondereful vocals provided by Lance in a straight-forward, no nonsense manner. This is good stuff and will be a welcome addition to any CD collection. Invite yourself for a ride on Lance's trip. The journey is worth it." -- Gary Burger, Turtle Town Music
Hello, You probably don't remember me, but I remember you. I was a student at NDSU 3 or 4 years ago and you used to play there in the commons area of the union a lot. I came to almost every single one of your shows and was a huge fan of your music. You used to always wait to play "world to me" until I got there. We would usually visit after the shows as well. I found your CD's again the other day and it really made me smile, I had forgotten that period of my life. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you for being you. You have no idea how much hearing you play and that personal touch you always gave it made a difference in what was a very hard time in my life. I hope that you are doing well and wish you the best of luck in your music, life, and love. I would love to know how I can order your latest CD's.
